Our Policy

While using our services you must agree to the Terms of Service. Violation of these services will result in action being taken against you which includes being banned from using any of our services. Please ensure that you read this policy through very carefully and understand all of it. If you do not understand any part of this agreement, please contact us via IRC or Email.

Section 1 - IRC Channels

• Users must not evade the official or unofficial bnc4free channels if they have been banned. This is a serious offence and can also result in a G:Line/AKill on the network you are evading on.
• BNC4FREE has taken steps to prevent spamming occuring on our official channels however this may still be possible. Spamming is a serious offence and you will be banned for it. Please do not spam.
• Abusing our bot by making it spam is not permitted and you will be banned for this (unless it spams due to a problem we’ve caused inwhich you’ll be exempt).
• Racism and Swearing in our official channels is not permitted at anytime and will result in a ban.
• Advertising is not permitted within the BNC4FREE Channel. With respect to irc networks, we understand you will need to type the address in the request and may be asked for it by staff at a later date. Situations such are these are exemptions to the rule
• Gaining unauthorized access or operator status on our channels is a serious infraction of the rules and will result in your bnc being deleted and you possibly being banned from the network in question (if not channel)

Section 2 - Requesting

• You must not request more than once. Using multiple emails, ip’s etc…. is called ‘Evasion’ and it will not be tolerated. We strictly only give 1 BNC per person unless you donate. Users evading this rule will be banned and banned continuously for years. Our staff are not stupid.
• Please ensure that the IRC Network you are requesting is not in the blacklist and that you have typed it correctly otherwise we will reject it.
• Please ensure that the port you have specified in your request is valid otherwise it will be rejected.
• Please ensure that your email address is valid otherwise you wont ever receive the details…
• Please ensure that your username doesnt contain any other characters other than those found in the alphabet and numbers including ‘-’ and ‘_’. We will reject any bnc’s with invalid characters in the usernames.
• To comply with a majority of network rules, it is strictly against the rules to request any bnc username that contains words that could be considered racist/sexual or abusive. These requests will be denied instantly.
• BNC4FREE reserve the right to refuse service to any user that is not in conduct of our terms of service or any other justifiable reason at any time.

Section 3 - IRC Bouncer Policy

• Clients using our IRC Bouncers are not permitted to change their bnc vhost at anytime. Users found doing so can be removed from the service for this reason.
• Clients using our IRC Bouncers must idle on #bnc4free on irc.chatftw.com while they are using the bnc. Users that havent been seen on the network for 3 to 4 weeks without reason may find that their BNC account disappears
• Clients using our IRC Bouncers must not share their account or give out their password. If these accounts are found they will be deleted immediatly.
• In order to gain more than 1 IRC Bouncer you MUST donate unless you were an existing customer before September 1st 2009 and none of your accounts expired between that date and present
• BNC4FREE forbids the use of proxies, ip tunnels and the use of hosting providers to connect to our bnc’s. While we obviously cannot ban every known proxy, you will be removed and banned if you are found to be using one.
• BNC4FREE reserve the right to delete any account/client that is not in conduct of our terms of service or for any other justifiable reason.

Section 4 - IRC Bouncer Usage

• Our bouncers will NOT be used for ban evades of any kind whether it be a g/z/k-line from a server or a channel ban of any sort.
• Your bouncer will be revoked when a kill/gline/zline/kline occurs because of your actions. You are exempt from this rule if the ban is caused by session limits as we understand this is our fault.
• Your bouncer will be revoked if you use it to spamvertise of generally disrupt a network by any method.

Section 5 - Privacy Policy

• BNC4FREE reserves the right to gain and store your IP Addresses and Email address for the duration of your stay with our services
• BNC4FREE reserves the right to store information on the network you requested and your usage of our accounts including your IP address and Email address for up to 3 months after account termination. In the event that you have been blacklisted, the IP Address or addresses is retained for up to 3 years.
• BNC4FREE reserves the right to request IP addresses from IRC Networks that you have used for a justified reason without your consent.
• BNC4FREE does not have access to IRC logs or any data that you have sent through the BNC to the IRC server you requested and will never have access to such information unless it is collected by a user or member of staff in that channel on that network

Section 6 - Donations

• BNC4FREE accepts donations in any currency
• BNC4FREE will only accept donations via PayPal and will not accept donations such as servers or resources
• BNC4FREE Donations are verified by the founder of BNC4FREE to ensure that donations have been received and aren’t fraudulent
• BNC4FREE will reject any donations sent by users who have fraudulently gained the money they send us
• BNC4FREE does not refund any donations

Section 7 - Extra Policy Information

• This policy is effective from 31/08/2010 @ 13:00 GMT+0 until it is next updated
• BNC4FREE Reserves the right to change this Policy at any time and will actively notify all users of this by email or announcement
